AFW Visualizer: View and Shop Furniture in Augmented Reality
AFW Visualizer is a free lifestyle app developed by American Furniture Warehouse Co Inc. It allows users to easily view and shop for furniture from a large selection of American Furniture Warehouse's in-stock items using augmented reality (AR) technology. With true-to-scale AR models, users can see how their favorite furniture pieces fit in their room and how they coordinate with their personal style.
To use the app, simply select an item that is available in AR, tap the "View in AR" button on the product page, and follow the onscreen guidance to point your device at the floor and place the item directly in your room. Once placed, you can move, rotate, and view the size and color options of the furniture on the same screen.
The app also allows users to share screenshots of their furniture selections with family and friends or post them on social media. When ready to purchase, users can easily buy items directly from the app or add them to their cart for in-store purchase with the assistance of knowledgeable associates.
In addition to its AR capabilities, AFW Visualizer offers design tips, a "Shop the Look" room shopping feature, and furniture care guides. Please note that AFW Visualizer requires an iPhone 6s or newer with ARKit support. iPad compatibility is also available.
